The short-term vacation rental community is growing worldwide and in mid-coast Maine. Are you wondering if your property has the potential for some extra income? Come and explore the possibilities that are available to you. This general information session will help you decide if short-term renting is the right fit for you, your family, and your home. Discussion specifics will be generated by your questions, and the ins-and-outs revealed by a two-year veteran of short-term vacation rental success. Considerations for discussion; lodging taxes, local permits, navigating the websites, security, and expectations. After the class has generated some clarity for you and you decide to jump on this journey, there will be another multi-day course offered mid-winter to help you actually get things up and running.
