All About Growing Dahlias and Rooting Shoots

Dahlias are an easy to grow late summer and fall flower that can be started from seed and propagated by division and rooting of shoots. This hands-on workshop will cover everything you need to know to grow beautiful dahlias, root lilies, and selected perennials. The Wednesday class (5:30-7:30 pm) will be a lecture and the Saturday class (9:00 am-noon) will be hands-on. Participants will take home dahlias from seed and rooted shoots to grow at home and plant out. A separate materials fee of $15 payable to the instructor at the first class will cover the cost of all materials. Call the Adult Ed office at 207-596-7752 x 3 to register.
