This course is designed for those who have decided to take the plunge and try their hand at short-term rentals. Let’s get you up and running. Practical 'how to' information, along with individual student’s needs, will steer this course. We’ll go through the process of setting up everyone’s profile and account, as well as talk about the best way to take photos, get those uploaded and placed in the profile. We’ll take a close look at nightly rates based on each facility, amenities, location, and time of year. We’ll discuss insurance options and any other factors that should be considered.
This two night class will be an exploration of how to utilize eBay, the on-line auction, as a buyer or seller. We will walk you through how to create an account, the eBay fee structure, and the anatomy of a sale. Describing and photographing items, tips, tricks, and pitfalls will be discussed. A short discussion about tax liability and eBay No-No’s will be included. Laptop computers will be available for your use. This course is for the eBay novice or dabbler, so bring your questions to class for discussion.

Home Ecology is an introductory course that explores tools and practices that support a relaxed, comfortable, and welcoming home, from kitchen sink to laundry room, and from home office to household chores. Each class will include preparation of a simple and flavorful meal, adaptable to most diets. A $40 supply fee has been added.
