Machining Part 1 – Jan. 2023

This course is for beginner students. Included is basic machine shop safety, determining speeds and feeds, proper use of dial calipers and micrometers, theory, and basic set up and operations of a milling machine and lathe. Upon course completion, students may enroll in Machining, Part II. Bring safety glasses and wear reinforced-toe shoes to class. Please be sure to complete the 3-part form at this link before the first class.
