In this instructor-led MTA course, “Microsoft Technology Associate 98-349 Windows Operating System Fundamentals”, any student is able to begin a career pathway in Computer Technology Support. Experienced IT professional, Lee Fox, will instruct and mentor students toward obtaining an industry recognized Microsoft MTA Infrastructure Series certification. The computer tech skills support Windows 10 desktops and demonstrate student understanding on these topics: Operating System Configurations, Installing and Upgrading Client Systems, Managing Applications, Managing Files and Folders, Managing Devices, and Operating System Maintenance. Our “bundled for success” Computer Tech course also includes the entire Pearson eCourse for MTA 98-349 online Gmetrix platform with quizzes, practice tests after each lesson module, student progress reporting, and instructor support with IT career mentorship.
Microsoft Official Academic Course (MOAC) content will include a MeasureUP practice exam and Certiport MTA test voucher (and a retake voucher). At the end of the course, we will waive associated proctor fees for the test at our CATC Certiport Authorized Test Center for students aiming to earn their MTA Microsoft certificate. Successful students will receive the MTA Microsoft certificate that never expires, and they will secure an online digital MTA badge that can be shown with pride. The in-class portion of this class will have computers readily available for student use; however, students must have access to a Windows 10 home computer with good internet connectivity for the home study portion of this class. This course can be presented via Zoom if COVID warrants it. If you're enrolling, please complete the following form:
