Simple Websites with WiX – February 2023

In this workshop, split into 2 separate sessions, students will learn how websites work and how to build their their own, using the drag-and-drop interface at WiX. (Use of WiX is free but can be upgraded to enable custom domain names and remove WiX advertisements.) In the first session, we will cover the basics of the Wix user-interface and students will have the opportunity to start working on their sites. The second session will cover more advanced topics. No prior experience is necessary. Students should bring their own laptops with a Firefox or Chrome browser. A loaner laptop is available to use  in class, though not preferred.
